Glazed Pork Meatloaf Recipe • Moist & Tasty! | Club Foody

Until the weather really warms up and BBQ season 🔥 officially settles in, many home cooks will continue making warm and cozy comfort foods such as casseroles, pot roast, braised short ribsstewspasta dishessoups, etc.

Each country around the world 🌍 has its favorite “soul food”. North America loves its Mac and Cheese, while Japan enjoys its Nikujaga (meat and potato stew). Great Britain has its Bangers and Mash. During that time, the French savor their >Onion Soup Gratinée.

Here at Club Foody, we love our Glazed Pork Meatloaf! Juicy and incredibly flavorful, this recipe is the perfect meal to enjoy with your family. Served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables 🥦, this is a tasty, satisfying dinner that delivers deliciousness every time!

I’m not exactly sure if its roots are Germanic, but nonetheless, meatloaf gains international popularity. Besides this one, I have a couple more recipes 📃: Beef Meatloaf and Italian Meatloaf. This warm, hearty dish is always welcome on everyone’s table.

In this Glazed Pork Meatloaf, I sauté my onions in butter 🧈 for a couple of minutes until translucent. Sometimes, though, I like adding red peppers to it. Not only does it enhance flavor and add sweetness to the dish, but also adds color. Like I always say – “We eat with our eyes first!”

The glaze gives this meatloaf that extra layer of yumminess. When I filmed 🎥 this video, I didn’t have enough of either my CaribbeanKansas City or Jack Daniel’s BBQ sauce, therefore I opted for my backup… KC Masterpiece. You can use any of my sauces or your favorite one.

I barely add salt 🧂 to this recipe, and would you like to know why? It’s very simple. There’s salt in ketchup, even when buying low-sodium. There’s also salt in mustard and definitely in BBQ sauce. The only time I use some is when I sauté the onions to draw out the moisture, which accelerates the cooking process.

In the meatloaf mixture, I use warm milk, not hot. It gives the meatloaf a better texture as well as moisture. It also prevents it from drying out. Another reason why I use milk is that it adds more flavor. On the other hand, substitute warm water 💦 for a more economical solution.

The rest is pretty straightforward: mix all the ingredients, transfer to a loaf pan, and then pour on half of the glaze. Pop it in the oven for 1 hour ⏰. About 15 to 20 minutes before the end of cooking, the remaining half of the glaze is poured over, spread out, and the meatloaf is returned to the oven until done.

Glazed Pork Meatloaf is the ultimate comfort food to make! This nostalgic recipe takes no time to prep 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳, and it turns out perfect every time: moist, juicy, and so flavorful! Served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, this is a delicious dish everyone always enjoys!
Bon Appétit! 🍽
