One thing that hasn’t changed is we both enjoy smoothies and we have a lot to choose from as I created so many recipes since my 20s’. I’ve posted a lot already like my Caribbean Smoothie, Green Smoothie, Kiwi Raspberry Smoothie, Tropical Sunshine Smoothie, and many more. Now let’s add another one to this delicious list… my Polynesian Smoothie!
This is a great way to start your day! The combination of mangoes, guavas and pineapple gives this healthy beverage a gorgeous burst of flavor! It’s refreshing, so delicious and a nice way to enjoy these tropical fruits after fasting overnight.
This tasty Polynesian Smoothie is very easy to make. There’s a little prep to do that doesn’t take much time. If you’re unfamiliar on how to handle guavas and mangoes, check out these links… How to Cut a Mango and Guava Fruit • How to Handle.
I use 1% milk because that’s what we mostly use in our house but 2% is absolutely fine. I never tried it with almond milk but I’m sure it will taste just lovely along with these fruits. I also add agave nectar but honey is a good substitution. I have another amazing kitchen trick when handling sticky ingredients and here’s the link… Measuring Honey, Syrup or Molasses without Sticking
This Polynesian Smoothie is refreshingly delicious! It’s definitely an amazing recipe to enjoy this summer and a nice way to incorporate these incredible fruits into your diet. After your first sip, the flavor will take your taste buds on a tropical vacation…
