Sweet Chili Chicken Bites Recipe • Tasty Thai Appetizer! | Club Foody

 

As I’ve been cooking up a storm at home due to Club Foody, I absolutely need to go out to restaurants once a week and let someone else cook, serve and clean. Yes David helps me a lot but still, I do the majority of the work, constantly having a camera between me and the preparation of the meal… not very convenient.
 
When we go out, I’m in no rush and like to order an appetizer. I find it social and it also calms our hunger before ordering the main course. I do the same when family and friends come over. It doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be a salad, small tapas, soup, bread or other light fare.
 
There’s a dish that we enjoy a lot and it’s my Sweet Chili Chicken Bites! It’s absolutely delicious and very easy to make! Double dredged, the pieces are crispy on the outside and tender & juicy on the inside. It’s a tasty appetizer recipe to have in your folder although it can also be served as a main course along with some steamed white rice…
 
What makes this dish so mouthwatering is the sauce. I use my homemade Sweet Chili Sauce that I posted a couple of months ago. This is a great condiment that I use often for different recipes like Sweet & Sour Pineapple Pork, Chinese 5 Spice Spare Ribs, Ginger Beef, Triple Chili Wing Sauce, Vietnamese Summer Rolls, and others.
 
The first time we had Sweet Chili Chicken Bites was in a popular pizza chain here in Canada. We liked it so much that it became our favorite item to order each time we went there. One day, David suggested we should give it a try and make it at home. Score! From that day on, we’ve been enjoying these tasty little bites whenever we want…
