Greek Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe • Summer Side! | Club Foody

Summer is about backyard parties, picnics, and days at the beach ⛱! For these occasions, we like making certain foods like sandwiches 🥪, hummusmuffinssmoked sausages, charcuterie boards, snacks, granola bars, etc.

Salads 🥗 are another popular choice. I think of IsraeliCreamy Bacon Potato or Moroccan Potato SaladNiçoiseMixed TomatoChickpea Corn, and others as well as Pasta Salad! As most of you know, I love pasta and there are already a couple more of these salads here at CF like Mediterranean Chicken Pesto Pasta and this featured one… Greek Tuna Pasta Salad!

This colorful salad is loaded with deliciousness! With an assortment of fresh vegetables, feta cheese and a lovely dressing, this is the perfect summer salad! It’s easy to make and another amazing dish to add to your folder! This is one of my “summer time” go-to recipes…

After the noodles are cooked, cool to room temperature and you have your “mise en place” (means everything in place and ready to go), the rest is kiddy play! My tasty Greek Salad Dressing is something you can make ahead and you’ll see, it takes no time to put this healthy recipe together!

If not using the cooked pasta right away or, in this case, has to cool off, pour on some oil and gently toss. For this Greek Tuna Pasta Salad, I use grapeseed or any other flavorless oil to not compromise the flavor. Olive oil is good for regular pasta dishes.

Some people find raw onion 🧅 tastes overwhelming. To remedy this situation, soak the chopped onion in cold water for 30 minutes which will take away the bitterness. The other alternative is to use a milder onion like green onions or Vidalia.

Like most recipes, adjust it to your liking! All our lives (even before we met), David and I have never been big fans of “salt”. Yes, some salt 🧂 is okay but not a ton like I see in so many home cook recipes or chefs. If you’re wise and start doing some research, you’ll see how bad salt can be for your body. As you saw in the video, I don’t add any because feta cheese is already salty (yes even after rinsing it) so I’d rather use other spices even freshly ground black pepper to bring the flavors together… no extra salt needed!

When pouring in the Greek Salad Dressing, add a little at a time just enough to lightly coat the ingredients. Taste and adjust if needed, before adding a little more. Normally for 1 lb. of pasta, I use ½ cup of dressing. Same thing here… adjust to your liking!

This healthy 💚 Greek Tuna Pasta Salad is incredibly delicious! With gorgeous ingredients, this is a rainbow of yumminess! Bring summer to your plate by making this succulent pasta salad dish! After trying it, it wouldn’t surprise me that it will become your “go-to” recipe as well…
Bon Appétit! 🍽
