Before I started making pizzas from scratch at home, I never thought that one day I’d be enjoying the process so much. Perhaps the fact that my very first pizza dough was a success motivated me to continue making them… Trust me, it’s not very complicated.
 
Another reason could be I enjoy creating recipes and this delicious blank canvas (pizza crust) was giving me that challenge. In fact, I really don’t care what the reasons are that keep encouraging me to make homemade pizzas… I absolutely love it! I love the smell of the yeast, the freshness of the dough and the results after I combine all the ingredients together like in this Quattro Formaggi Pizza…
 
It was easy to come up with this delicious recipe. Using fresh Italian ingredients and assembling them on my dough is so delightful. The sweetness from the sun-dried tomatoes, the heat from the hot Italian sausage and the mix of 4 different Italian cheeses, gives this Quattro Formaggi Pizza a unique, flavorful taste.
 
The 4 cheeses that I use are perfect together. There’s Mozzarella, Asiago, Fontina and Parmesan; definitely a great match! Depending on my mood, I either use my Easy-Cheesy Herb Pizza Dough, my Rustic Italian Pizza Dough, my Healthy Broccoli Pizza Dough, Ancient Multi-Grain Pizza Dough or Mushroom Lovers Pizza Dough… Can you skip making the dough from scratch? Of course but why would you? It is so much better than the premade ones…
